The Twins won on Tuesday with great pitching by Brad Radke, Radke went 7 innings giving up only 2 runs on 9 hits. With the win, Radke now has 147 career wins and is only 3 away from 150.

The Twins offense didn't score a lot of runs on Tuesday but they got timely hits and were able to score enough to hold off the Tigers. The Twins scored 4 runs on 12 and didn't have any homeruns. Joe Mauer and Nick Punto each had 3 hits, while Mauer had 2 RBI and Punto had 1. The Twins also got 2 hits from each Hunter and Castillo.

The bullpen was good as they got 2 innings of work, Rincon got the 8th inning and gave up one hit and got one strikeout. Nathan pitched the 9th with a two run lead and let two base runners on but stranded them both getting his 24th save of the year.
