Today's Game Postponed

It was announced this morning that tonight's game against the Chicago White Sox, in which the Twins would send out Carlos Silva to pitch against Javier Vazguez, has been postponed due to extremely cold weather and winds up to 25-30 MPH. A makeup date has still not been announced, and a double-header is not an option with cold weather expected throughout the rest of the weekend.

The Twins will most likely skip either Ponson or Silva in the rotation, with Santana pitching on Sunday. The Twins will make that announcement later today. The Twins will still have practice at the field later this afternoon because they didn't have practice yesterday and want to stay fresh.

UPDATE:
The Twins rotation will be the following according to La Velle.

Saturday: Carlos Silva versus Javier Vazquez
Sunday: Johan Santana versus John Danks
Monday: Sidney Ponson versus Carl Pavano
Tuesday: Boof Bonser versus Andy Pettitte
Wednesday: Ramon Ortiz versus Mike Mussina
