Joe Mauer is finally back on the active roster, and will return to the lineup for the Twins tomorrow when the Twins kick of a fifteen game series with the Nation League teams.
Upon his return however, Mauer will not bat in the number three spot that he has become accustom to, but instead the Twins will try to get runners on base earlier and move him up to the number two spot. They will keep Cuddyer, Morneau and Hunter at the 3-5 spots.
To make room on the roster for Mauer, the Twins have sent Jason Miller back to AAA Rochester. I hinted at this move yesterday, but there was still some thought that Luis Rodriguez might go. Miller started off very well, but his last appearance in which he gave up seven hits and six runs might have been a deciding factor.
