Monday Notes

- Dennys Reyes is expected to miss the rest of the season according to Joe Christensen. Reyes tried to throw some off the mound, and it hurt worse than before. There are thoughts that it is a tear, and Reyes says he is now focused on being ready to pitch next season.

- The Twins are expected to make more moves after today's game. The Red Wings will play their final game today, and a pitcher, catcher and maybe one other player could be called up.

- Boof Bonser will get another chance to start, but if it doesn't go well, the Twins are expected to remove him from the rotation, and let Nick Blackburn take a shot at it. Also, Slowey will pitch for the Twins tomorrow, and Garza is expected to go on Friday with extra rest.

- Joe Mauer could miss one more week, and said that he plans on catching as long as possible. That was in response to an article written by the Star Tribune talking about Mauer needing to switch to third.

- Finally, I think you already know that I blog the Minnesota Timbewolves over at Minnesota Sports Zone, but I'll be putting my work up at Talkin T-Wolves as well to make it easier for readers to read the work, and also easier to comment on.
