Land O' Links 11/17
Just want to make it clear that this "Land O' Links" is now our link dump. When the season starts, it could be daily, but at times like these when not a lot is going on, it could be just a couple times each week.
La Velle talks about Clark:
The Twins are one of seven teams interested in veteran switch-hitter Tony Clark to help boost their offense next season.
Clark, 35, hit .249 with 17 homers and 51 RBI last season with Arizona, where his leadership was integral to the Diamondbacks reaching the postseason.
Diamond Leung/Press-Enterprise on Colletti's viewpoint in trades:
Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti is finding the price he would have to pay in terms of players in any trade for a much-needed power hitter to be overwhelming. So much so that signing such a hitter from a weak free-agent class to a big contract seems to be the better way to go, as Colletti expressed interest Friday in available center fielders Torii Hunter, Andruw Jones and Aaron Rowand.
